On the relationship between knowledge and creativity

The relationship between knowledge and creativity is complex.The dispute between views of tension and foundation focuses on the relationship between knowledge quantity and creativity.As a matter of fact,the nature and the organization of knowledge as well as how to apply knowledge all exert great impact upon creative activities.To effectively organize knowledge can help ones to rapidly and effectively retrieve and process information, which will benefit creative activities.Tacit knowledge can trigger ones'intuition and inspira- tion,while explicit knowledge can help them select appropriate information.
