Research on Biomass Tar Wastewater Treatment by Composite Filtering Method

Biomass tar wastewater was treated by composite filtering method. It analyzed the characteristics of the tar wastewater quality, screened out the type of filter materia and determined the allocation proportion of filter. The experimental comparative analysis showed that the removal rates of COD, tar and SS in treated wastewater were 54%, 60% and 68%, respectively. The method is simple, low cost and easy management, which can be used in rural biomass gasification tar wastewater treatment.
