With the development of technologies for utilizing waste plastic,its environmental problems become more serious than ever.With the method of life cycle assessment,this article is aimed to evaluate the environmental loads generated from the co-coking process with waste polystyrene.Results show that the most severe environmental loads are acidification,global warming and dust,which account respectively for 34.0%,27.5% and 23.3% of the total environmental load.In the three stages of co-coking process,the coking stage has the largest percent of environmental load,then the mix stage and the fragmentation stage.For a better environmental performance of this process,it is crucial to reduce the environmental load of the coking stage.
