Effect of step length impact on result of target search in equal step length searching method

This paper analyzes the target-searching method based on the equal step length in the rangegated underwater imaging system and presents the related searching strategies and criterion of target judgment and identification.The simulation and analysis of the effect of different step lengths on the result of target search in using the equal step length searching method show that the proposed judgment function and criterion are correct and that different step lengths have an impact on the result of target search.
