High-repetition-rate underwater range-gated imaging system with adjustable pulse number

The traditional underwater range-gated imaging system requires high single pulse energy.A high-repetition-rate underwater range-gated imaging system is designed to solve this problem.Compared with the traditional range-gated laser imaging system which accumulates one single echo signal to yield one frame,the high-repetition-rate underwater range-gated imaging system can integrate multi-echo signals to obtain one frame and make a rent-time adjustment of pulse numbers to get higher quality only with lower single pulse energy.The imaging experiment on the system in the pool shows that with an increase in pulse number in one frame,the high-repetition-rate underwater range-gated imaging quality will improve and that the pulse numbers must be increased to obtain better quality images from a lower distance.
