Technique and Test of Error Variance Modeling of GPS's Reducing Noise Using Wavelet Transform

It has important sense for the engineering measurement to remove the noise in GPS's observation data and estimate the error variance of the reduced-noise GPS signal.On the basis of the wavelet's multi-scale analysis introduced,the theoretical error variance model of smooth signal was deduced in the process of wavelet's multi-scale analysis.At last the experiment of practical GPS single-point static position was carried out to validate the above model.The experiment results show that this method can reduce the noise of GPS,at the same time the calculated error variance of smooth signal in every scale is nearly consistent with the theoretical error variance model.
