The catalytic oxidation activities of organic compounds over Cu oxide catalysts carried on modified mordenite were investigated, The activity and NOx controlling capability of the catalysts for the deep oxidation of n-buiylamine,aminobenzene and nitrobenzene were studied. It was fcund that there was a CG-catalytic effect existed between the active component CuO and the carrier modified by La3+ and Cr3+ icns. The catalyst Cu3/AUM was found to have higher activity and NOx controlling capability in comparison with other catalysts. Its catalytic conversion for n-butylamine found to be 100%, at concentration of 2 600mg/m%230℃,space velocity 10 000h-1 and almost no NOx was detected. The feasibility of Cu3/AUM for space velocity change of reactant-concentration va-ciation was fairly good.
