Wang Xingyi Wu Shangliang Lu Guanzhong Wang Ren(Research Institute of Industrial Catalysis, East China University of Chemical Technology, Shanghai, 200237)  
The relation between different Ce/Cu ratios and thermal stability of non-precious metal oxide catalysts, and/or the phase structure of these catalysts were studied. The results are that the proper cerium content can promote thermal stability of catalysts, because cerium oxide can resist to the formation of phase NiCo2O4, which is unfavourable to combustion activity of catalysts in this series. Calcinated in air, NiCo2O4 spinel form easily, while in N2/H2O, it does difficultly.
