ISOLATION,IDENTIFICATION AND DEGRADATION CHARACTERISTICS OF A HERBICIDE ZJ0273-DEGRADING STRAIN CY

Propyl(4-(2-(4,6-dimethoxypyrimidin-2-yloxy)benzylamino)benzoate(ZJ0273) is a new herbicide used in the rapeseed fields.Five strains which utilize ZJ0273 as sole carbon and energy source were isolated from ZJ0273-used soil in oilseed fields by selective enrichment culture,and a CY strain most capable of degrading ZJ0273 was selected.Based on its physiological and biochemical characteristics and phylogenetic analysis of 16S rRNA sequences,the strain was identified as Bacillus sp..When the initial concentration of ZJ0273 was 50 mg·L-1 in the basic medium,the degradation rate of ZJ0273 within 30 days was 55.1% by strain CY.The optimal intial pH of culture medium and temperature were 8.0 and 35 ℃ respectively.The degradation rate of ZJ0273 by strain CY showed a positive correlation with inoculating rate within a certain range,and the degradation rate was lower when initial concentration of ZJ0273 was more than 400 mg·L-1.
