Research progress in treatment of dyes effluent by white-rot fungus

Jin Min Li Junwen (Institute of Hygiene and Environmental Medicine, Academy of Military Medical Sciences, Tianjin 300050)  
White-rot fungus, which degrade artificial dyes to CO 2 and H 2O by special degrading enzymes or other approaches, can treat dyes effluent efficiently. This paper covers the biological characterization, degrading mechanism, fermentation influencing factors, application in treatment of dyes effluent of white-rot fungus.
