Industrial test and research of electro-flotation technology for oily wastewater treatment in oilfield

Electro-flotation is a new technology for wastewater treatment in oilfield.The technology is tested and studied by industrial test based on the results of lab and small type test,process and unit of test are designed,and staged results are achieved.The results show that deoiling rate reaches about 89 percent at most,SS removal rate reaches about 73 percent at most with lowermost 30 percent,and sterilization rate reaches from 99.6 to 100 percent after electro-flotation treatment.It accords with requirement of deoiling by flotation.As compared with traditional technology,electro-flotation is advanced in many aspects,such as the amount of chemical agent consumed is one third,electricity consumption is 0.2 kW·h/m~3,and overall running cost is(economized) 40 to 60 percent.The research results will lay a solid foundation for wide applications of electro-flotation in petrochemical wastewater treatment.
