Study on dosage control by flocs fractal dimension

On the basis of fractal theory,the on-line monitoring of flocs fractal dimension is achieved through the advanced image analysis measurement.Depended on the trial,it is confirmed the fractal dimension can favorably reflect the flocculation degree of flocs and its treatment effect.According to the above,the fuzzy control model of three parameters,namely coagulant dosage,fractal dimension,and sedimentation effluent turbidity,is established to realize the auto-control of coagulant dosage.
