Research on NO_x emission of coal-fired boilers in Shandong Province of China

Through the investigation on NO_x emission from the coal-fired boilers which belong to Shandong Power-grid,the relationships between NO_x emission and coal types,boiler structures,burner types,excess-air coefficient,load were obtained.Results shows that the NO_x emission from 50 MW or larger boilers of Shandong coal-fired power plants was over 400 000 tons in 2003(as calculation of NO_2).Therefore,the control of NO_x(emission) should be carried out without delay.
