Influencing factors of xylene waste gas treatment by photocatalysis

Yu Xin Mei Kai Xu Rong Wang Shan Zhou Baochang(College of Urban Construction and Safety & Environmental Engineering,Nanjing University of Technology,Nanjing 210009)  
Common TiO2 and nanometer TiO2 were loaded on the porous carriers respectively,the 256~265 nm ultraviolet lamps were chosen as the lamp-horse,the influencing factors and characteristics of the xylene gas treatment by photocatalysis reactor were discussed.The results indicated that,in the conditions of nanometer TiO2 catalyzer,1000 W symmetrical ultraviolet luminous intensity,1000 m3/h blast volume,350 mg/m3 inlet xylene gases concentration and ozone addition,the average removal efficiency of xylene reached 90%.
