Variations of influencing factors affecting nitrogenous pollutants transformation in semi-aerobic landfill

The semi-aerobic landfill experimental installation was built according to semi-aerobic landfill theory.To study the variation law of pH temperature ORP and the concentration of O2,NH+4-N,NO-3-N in different layers,the leachate and landfill gas in different areas of installation were collected and detected regularly.The experimental results indicate that the temperature of landfill layers in semi-aerobic installation increased at earlier stage and decreased in the later stage.At the final stage,the temperature increased again.pH firstly increased and later decreased,the maximum of pH was 8.74 and the minimum was only 7.91.The concentration of O2 dropped firstly to 3.43%.With the O2 diffusing along the main leachate collection pipe,The O2 was up to 10.46%.During the last period of landfill process,the O2 dropped again to 1.61%. After 316 days of the landfill,the detecting of ORP shows that the ORP of different layers was under 150 mV.The maximum was up to 123 mV and the minimum was-166mV.
