Experimental study on removal methods of micro atrazine in raw drinking water

Drinking water pollution caused by micro organics is one of key issues on the ecological safety.The endocrine-disrupting pesticide atrazine in drinking water was selected as target in the paper,and microorganism and photocatalysis degradation techniques were separately applied in its removal,and influence of temperature on the degradation efficiency was examined.It was indicated that the Mn-removal functional bacterial MB4 had obvious role in removal of atrazine when its initial concentration was 1 mg/L at three temperatures.The removal efficiency of atrazine got 65% by 7 days.All the photocatalysis efficiencies of atrazine at three temperatures could get 90% with catalyzer of powder active carbon loaded with TiO2(TiO2/PAC) by 30 minutes when initial substrate concentration was 200 μg/L.The coordination techniques of photocatalysis and microorganism degradation had widest application foreground in removal of micro endocrine-disrupting compounds in drinking water.
