Aircraft Measurement of Atmospheric Pollutants in Winter in North China Ⅱ:Research on Pollution Properties of Atmospheric Aerosol

Atmospheric aerosols play a vital role in the process of acidic precipitation.During the Eighth Five Year Plan Period,research on pollution properties of atmospheric aerosol in winter in North China was carried out and significant results have been achieved.The research results show that the pollution caused by aerosol in the air above North China is serious in winter,is then forms pollution area in the air similar to ground pollution area and the source of aerosol mainly comes from human activities such as coal combustion.Meanwhile,aerosols have strong acidity and would easily lead to acidic precipitation.
