Study on Application of a New Inorganic High Polymer Coagulant to Treatment of Tannery Waste Water

Applicaton of a new inorganic high polymer coagulant-silicon-calcium Poly aluminum-ferric Chloride (SCPAFC) in treatment of tannery waste water was introduced. The experimental results show that the SCPAFC for waste water the reduction rates of the turbid degree, the SS and the COD reached 95%, 90% and 85% respectively. The best pH value is from 6 to 9. The best amount of SCPAFC is 0. 35-0. 4g/L. The best reaction time of flocculation is in 15 to 20 min. Under the same condition, the properties of SCPAFC were twice better than PAC. For more, SC-PAFC also can be used in treating life water, production water and other waste water.
