Characteristics of atmospheric particulate matter during heating and non-heating periods in Jingyue and Chaoyang Districts in Changchun City

Atmospheric particulate matters during heating and non-heating periods in Jingyue and Chaoyang Districts in Changchun City were sampled to study the pollution characteristics and morphology characteristics were also analyzed.The results showed that:(1)the average concentrations of PM_(2.5)in Jingyue District during heating period and non-heating period were 144.86,87.10μg/m~3,and the average concentrations of PM_(10) were 149.07,138.72μg/m~3,respectively.The average concentrations of PM_(2.5)in Chaoyang District during heating period and non-heating period were 234.48,110.01μg/m~3,and the average concentrations of PM_(10) were 275.07,147.50μg/m~3,respectively.Overall,the concentration of atmospheric particulate matter during non-heating period was greater than that of heating period.(2)For heating period and non-heating period,the concentrations of PM_(2.5)and PM_(10) in Jingyue Distrcit were significantly lower than that of Chaoyang District.(3)In Jingyue District,the main source of particles in heating period were diesel exhaust,coal and biomass burning,while vehicle exhaust,construction dust,soil dust and some industrial exhaust had more contribution to the concentration of particles in non-heating period.The source of atmospheric particulates in Chaoyang District was more complex than Jingyue District,which was directly relative to different geographical locations and different functions.Construction dust had great influence on the content of atmospheric particulates in Chaoyang District.
