Study on Wolf Paw Fimbriata Extracts Antibacterial Effect

Orostachys cartilaginous is the plants of Orostachys in Crassulaceae family.Orostachys are important and valuable medicinal plants.The study showed that these plants contain flavonoids,organic acids,glycoside,sedoheptulosan,ispropylidene sedoheptulosan and other chemical constituents.Pharmacological effect:anti-virus,anti-bacterial,anti-censer,cardiac,anti-inflammatory etc.And they had extensive clinical application.The Anti-bacteria Effects of Orostachys cartilagineus in chloroform fragment in 95% Ethanol extracts were studied by MIC and Agar diffusion method.The results showed that the ingredient has biological activity which can prevent from growing of bacteria,especially it is obverious for Gram-Positive Bacteria.
