Analysis on impaction of heavy metal contents in stream sediment of gold mining district

In this paper,by comparing the contents of heavy metals in the sediments profile of reservoirs in the gold mining area and in stream sediments of neighbour areas,the evaluations of pollution in the sediment by heavy metals including arsenic,chromium,mercury,lead,copper,zinc were finished.The two effecting factors on enrichment of heavy metals were analyzed with the physical properties of different sections and layers: one is adsorbent actions of sediment by itself,and the other is the strength of mining actions in these regions.
