Discussion on the mineralization characteristics and deep prospecting potential of No.4 auriferous quartz vein of the Jinwozi gold deposit in Xinjiang

Jinwozi gold deposit is one of the most important gold deposits in eastern Xinjiang.The paper studies the geological features and mineralization characteristics of the No.4 auriferous quartz vein in detail.Comprehensive analysis on the trend of the grade,thickness and mineralization level reveals that the mineralization is a segmentation enrichment one and more better in the middle and northern part of the known quartz vein.It is revealed that the thermoelectricity of pyrite is mainly P-type and the thermoelectrical coefficient varies smally on the vertical direction,which indicates the auriferous quartz vein appears stablely with deep extension.The study results show that the exposed vein is only the upper part with a well prospecting potential at depth.
