Geochemical characteristics of ore-bearing rocks of the Hujiayu copper district in Zhongtiao Mountain and their geological significance

Hujiayu Copper Deposit is located in Zhongtiao Mountain,south part of central orogenic belt of the North China Craton,mainly hosted in rocks such as carbonaceous schist,impure marbles and silica albitite in Paleoproterozoic Erathem,Zhongtiao Group,Bizigou formation,and minor in dolomite marble in Yujiashan formation. According to whole-rock geochemical test and analysis of ore-bearing rocks within the deposit,characteristics of major elements indicate that ore-bearing rocks are all enriched with Mg and Al; characteristics of trace element show negative anomaly of Nb,Ta and Ti in all samples,similar geochemical characteristics of magma in subduction zone; The rareearth elements are featured by LREE / HREE fractionation,LREE enrichment and negative Eu anomaly in all samples, showing the ore-bearing rocks formed in reduction sedimentary environment. The research show that tectonic settings of Hujiayu copper deposit genesis is back-arc basin formed after subduction; Ore-bearing rocks suggest similarities in geochemical characteristics with other domestic typical exhalative sedimentary deposits,making Hujiayu Copper Deposit regarded to be an exhalative sedimentary deposit.
