The Theory of Wind Profile Radar and RASS Inverting Turbulence Dissipation Rate

In order to explore the optimum method for retrieving turbulent dissipation rate,to promote the study of turbulence law and mechanism,to make the application of related methods in business,the sample data were selected,the turbulent dissipation rate was inverted through the Brunt-Vaisala Frequency calculated by imaginary temperature and the spectral width caused by atmospheric turbulence,based on the detection principle of wind profiler radar and Radio-Acoustic detection system.The results showed that the method was effective and simple,and was suitable for wind profiler radar equipped with Radio-Acoustic detection system.Turbulence dissipation rate did not decrease completely with the increase of altitude,but there was strong turbulence in a certain altitude layer.Turbulence dissipation rate and atmospheric stability interact.
