Numerical prediction research on background value selection of sulfur dioxide in urban air pollution

On the problem of larger issues affecting the background value for sulfur dioxide numerical prediction of in urban air pollution,the background value selection was researched.The correlation analysis between six-point value of monitoring and forecasting from January to May in Anshan city was made with four background value selection methods:the same day concentration of the background point,the day before concentration of the background point,scaled prediction value and determined by the background meteorological conditions.At the same time,the regression equation,correlation coefficient and exponential fitness was presented.
