Effect of A/D Converting on Performance of Adaptive Antenna Side lobe Cancellation

An analysis of the effect of number of bits and sample frequency of A/D converting on cancellation efficiency in adaptive antenna side lobe cancellation system is made.Through studying the relation between cancellation ratio and signal correlativity,a quantitative equation between the best cancellation ratio and the number of bits is given.A method based on sinc interpolation for improving performance is presented to overcome the descent of cancellation ratio resulted from lower sample frequency.And an analysis of the relation between truncation length and cancellation ratio is made too.Simulation results show that the performance can be improved by way of increasing the number of bits and using sinc interpolation technique.
