Developing a fuel assembly homogenized parameter representation method based on tabulation

In the current two-step PWR core analysis method,fuel assembly homogenized parameters are pre-generated at certain reference conditions and retrieved in the later core analysis procedure for various actual operating conditions.How to accurately derive the variation of homogenized parameters with the independent parameters from the reference data is an important issue for the current core analysis method.In this paper,a representation method based on tabulation is developed.Its accuracy is tested by several testing cases and its application to the core analysis for Qin Shan nuclear power plant.
