0Enhance the Sensitivity of Oxidation of H 2O 2 on Platinized Platinum Wire at Low Working Potential

Glucose oxidase was entraped onto a platinized platinum wire (0.8cm length,  300μm) by a heteropolypyrrole film, which was formed by electropolymerizing a mixture of glucose oxidase, pyrrole and a substituted pyrrole, 4 (3 pyrrolyl) 4 oxobutyric acid. The micro glucose oxidase electrode showed high sensitivity to H 2O 2 at low potential and could signifinicantly reduce the response to electroactive compounds such as ascorbic acid, uric acid and 4 acetamidophenol, after 3 months examination, only 30% of its originial sensitivity was lost.
