Denitrifying phosphorus removal in A_2N-sequencing batch moving-bed biofilm reactor system

The A2N-sequencing batch moving-bed biofilm reactor system(A2N-SBMBBR system),which was made up of cultivation successful anaerobic/anoxic sequencing batch moving-bed biofilm reactor(A/A-SBMBBR) and nitrification sequencing batch moving-bed biofilm reactor(N-SBMBBR),was used to probe into the performance of denitrifying phosphorus on actual domestic sewage.Raw wastewater with low COD/TN(average value 2.98) was fed to the system at operational cycle time of 12 h.Under the experimental conditions,average removal efficiencies of COD,TN and TP were 76.24%,72.5% and 61.86%,respectively,and the highest removal rate of TN and TP were 77.86% and 76.14%.It is shown that denitrifying dephosphatation took place in the system,and the result also indicates that the A2N-SBMBBR system has good performance on treating domestic sewage with low COD/TN.
