Investigation and analysis of nurses’ needs to the curriculum design of continuing education

309 nurses from 19 Second Grade A level hospitals were randomly sampled and investigated with the self-designed questionnaire about their needs to the curriculum design of continuing education.The results revealed that the nurses expected to study new nursing techniques,knowledge of communication,nursing psychology,occupational etiquette,new nursing theories,knowledge of health education,specialty nursing,related medical policy and law,intensive care and knowledge of dietetics,etc.~2 test was used to analyze the difference of nurses’ needs in different age,professional title,duty and educational level.This study provided some evidence for the curriculum design of continuing education for nurses.
