The practice of systemic professional training mode for CCU nurses

Objective To improve CCU nurses' professional competency and practical performance ability,in order to meet the demands of rapid progress of cardiovascular intensive care technology.Methods 32 nurses were trained through the means of lectures,watching videotapes,nursing rounds,field guidance and establishing long-term examine system.The contents of training included operational techniques in CCU,equipments operating,specialty theoretical knowledge and complication observation.Results There was significant difference in nurses' performance in the theoretical knowledge test before and after training(P0.05).There was significant difference in the performance of operating test in nurses working in CCU less than 1 year and 1~3 years(P0.05),but no difference with nurses working in CCU over 3 years(P0.05).Conclusions Systematic CCU training is an effective way to train high-quality clinical professional nurses.
