A Study of Force Density Function of Plane Milling Insert

ZHANG Run-hong, ZHENG Min-li, LI Zhen-jia (Mechanical & Power Engineering College, Harbin Univ. Sci Tech., Harbin 150080, China)  
This paper aims at the problem of the milling stress-field analysis, on the basis of milling experiment, the density function of milling force in face milling is built. By using touching graphics and analyzing software MATLAB, the relation graph of milling force and touching width can be simulated. This density is doable based on the principles of statistics and can be used in the study of milling force and the stress -field analysis.
