Objective To explore the effect of the clinical route implemented in the operation patient of chronic dacryocystitis. Methods 200 operation patients of chronic dacryocystitis were divided into the experimental group and the control group. The experimental group used “hospitalization evaluation form for patient” to estimate, and was implemented the clinical route according to “clinical route form of the operation patient with dacryocystitis”. The control group used the original case history to estimate. Results The hospital day, hospitalization cost, coverage rate of health education, patient’s satisfaction, nursing quality were compared between the two groups. There was a remarkable difference between the two groups (P0.01 or P0.05). Conclusions Implementation of the clinical route to the operation patient with chronic dacryocystitis can reduce the hospital days and the hospitalization cost. In addition, it can improve the patient’s satisfaction and enhance the nursing quality of medical treatment, rate of health education, quality of medical care, nursing quality and coverage rate of health education. It’s suitable for being popularized in clinical practice.
