The dust catching ability of the several commonly gardening plants of Zhuzhou City

MENG Bin (Central South Forestry Investigation and Planning Institute,State Forestry Administration,Changsha 410014,China)  
The dust catching ability of the 16 commonly used afforestations plants in Zhuzhou City was determined in the paper,the results showed that: The broad-leaf tree variety unit surface dust catching volume were Magnolia grandiflora Palm Cinnamomum platyphllum Cinnamomum camphora Elaeocarpus decipiens Koelreuteria paniculata Laxm Liquidambar formosana Eurya japonica;The broad-leaf shrub variety unit surface dust catching volume were Rhododendron Loropetalum chinense var.rubrum Prunus cerasifera Camellia japonica L Viburnumodoratissimum Ligustrum quihoui Mahonia bealei Osmanthus fragrans Lour.
