Energy dissipation study of ultra high performance concrete columns under blast loading

In order to investigate the explosion resistance performance of ultra-high performance reinforced concrete,the ultra high performance concrete(UHPC) column energy dissipation mechanism was objected to study under the blast loading.Accurate numerical models was set up by the finite element software LS-DYNA can be used to analyze the total energy of ultra-high performance concrete columns and the variation disciplines of each component of energy.The results show that the energy change of UHPC column is closely related to the stress-wave propagation with the blast loading.The majority of the energy was occupied by the UHPC and the rest energy was hold by the fixture.In the total energy,internal energy is the most,kinetic energy is the more.Hourglass energy is the minimized.Therefore the key to the antiknock ability of ultra-high performance reinforced concrete columns is the performance of ultra-high performance concrete.
