clinical Analysis of Blunt Abdominal Trauma in 345 Cases

Objective To analyze the clinical characteristics of blunt abdominal trauma and to investigate how to improve the success rate of earlier diagnosis and emergency resuscitations.Methods The clinical data of 345 cases of such patient at out hospital between 1994 to 2004 were collected and analyzed retrospectively.281 of them were treated operatively,and the remaining 55 were subjected to conservative treatment,another 9 patients died in preparation before operation.Results In the conservative group,53 cases were cured with 2 cases died.In the operative group264 cases were cured with 17 cases died and various complications occurred in 35 cases.Conclusion In severe abdominal hemorrhage and multiple trauma,delayed treatment would be important factors resulting in death.This patients should be accurately operated in time.Parts of the patients who had slight abdominal injury may be treated by conservatively.Multiple departments cooperation should be made in treatment of the patient with severe multiple trauma.
