Clinical Observation of the Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine Combination Treatment on 62 Cases of Iron- deficiency Anemia Induced by Spleen- Qi Deficiency

Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of the treatment of traditional Chinese and western medicine combination on iron- deficiency anemia( IDA) induced by spleen- Qi deficiency. Methods 62 cases of IDA patients were randomly divided into 32 cases in treatment group and 30 cases in control group. Control group used Iron Dextran Tablets and Vitamin C,and treatment group used traditional Chinese medicine of spleen- restoring decoction based on the control group. The clinical efficacy and the change of relevant laboratory examination indexes were observed. Results The total effective rate of treatment group was 96. 88%,and control group was 93. 33%. There was no statistically significant difference( P 0. 05); Adverse reaction and recurrence rate of treatment group were both less than control group. Conclusion The clinical efficacy was exact through combining traditional Chinese with western medicine on treatment of iron- deficiency anemia( IDA) induced by spleen- Qi deficiency,and there was less adverse reaction. The quality of patients' life improved significantly.
