The Clinical Observation of Chemotherepy Combined with Intraperitoneal Chemotherepy in Advanced Ovarian Carcinoma

Objective To evaluate the results and toxicity of chemotherapy combined with intraperitoneal chemotherapy in advanced ovarian carcinoma.Methods 24 cases with advanced ovarian carcinoma were treated with paclitaxel 135 mg/m2 and carboplatin 400 mg/m2 intravenous chemotherapy,cisplatin 60 mg and dexamethasone 10 mg intraperitoneal chemotherapy.Results 24 cases were eligible for evaluation,the overall response rate was 79.2%(12 complete response and 7 partial response),median TTP were 9 months(5-12 months).The dose-limited toxicity was mild and mainly expressed as arrest of bone marrow,nausea,vomiting.Conclusion A higher response rate is attainable in patients with advanced ovarian carcinoma by chemotherapy and intraperitoneal chemotherapy.
