An estimate of the influence on the continental seismicity in China by Sumatra M_S 8.9 macroquake in Indonisia

In order to analyze the influence on continental earthquake by Sumatra MS8.9 earthquake on Dec. 26, 2004, we introduce in this paper the event of Sumatra-Mongolia earthquake migration, which lasted for 22 years from the year 1935 to 1957 and migrated for 4600km in length with the speed of 205km/y. Started from the Dec. 28 1935 MS8.1 Sumatra earthquake and the subduction event in the southern boundary of India-Austria plate and Eurasia plate, the migration got into the continent of China after it arrived at Burma arc and the eastern end of Himalayan arc towards the north through Andaman trench. Then it reached directly Mongolia along the seismic belt on the mean axis of China-Mongolia continent.
