Elastic-Plastic FEM Analysis of Pile-Anchor Protection in Deep Foundation Pit

Taking the deep foundation pit of one tall building as an example, the method of elasticplastic finite element analysis was adopted to carry out the numerical simulation on excavation and support. The results from the comparison between the calculated value and the measured one of pit's upper edge show that the method of elasticplastic finite element analysis is practical and also it can be applied to the such similar projects.
