Study on the Bending Performance of Reactive Powder Concrete Prestressed Composite Beams

In order to find out the structural performance of reactive powder concrete, three unbonded prestressed composite beams were made. The bending performance of these beams was studied, and the data of the strain of section , the stress increment of the unbonded steel, and the deflection at the middle-span were obtained. The experimental results indicated that the strain distribution along the section height conformed to the hypothesis of plane section, and the crack distribution had the feature of unbonded prestressed beam without bars. The curves of load-deflection and load-stress increment were similar, and the larger the prestress, the worse the ductility and the smaller the deflection. The formula of cracking moment and stiffness were established, and calculation results agreed well with the experimental data.
