Technical Progress of Chiral Resolution

Abstract : Raceme resolution is the main route for preparation of chiral compounds. This article reviews resolu-tion methods of raceme which includes six categories, such as mechanical , chemical, biochemical, chromato-graphic, extractive and membranous methods. Among these, mechanical, chemical and biochemical methods are popularly used in industrial application at present . It is forcasted that chromatographic, extractive and mem-branous methods will be the future directions of development owing to their own advantages.
