Study on the Preparation of γ-Butyrolactone Catalyst by Dehydrogenation of 1,4-Butanediol

CuO/ZnO/Al_2O_3 catalyst is prepared by co-precipitation method,with Cu,Zn,Al nitrates as raw materials.The activity of the catalyst on the preparation of γ-butyrolactone by dehydrogenation of 1,4-butanediol in the atmosphere is reviewed.With reaction temperature 250~260 ℃,liquid hourly space velocity 2.0 h~(-1),the mole ratio of hydrogen and alcohol 4.5~5.5,the yield of γ-butyrolactone can be up to 92%.In appropriate circumstances,catalyst has good activity and an operating flexibility.
