A study on the biomass and volume dynamic and the density regulation of Quercus variabilis population

WU Ming zuo, ZHENG Dong fang, LIU Yu cui (Henan Agriculture University, Zhengzhou, 450002, China)  
Quercus variabilis , belonging to Fageceae, is widely distribted in the west montains in Henan province. But now it is decreasing in distributed area and population quantity, for the abuse and destroyment by mankind. This paper demonstrated that the biomass and volume increasement of Q.variabilis population has strong relationships with its environment, through the Logistic model simulation in deferent degree of disturbance. It also studied the mechanisms for the population maintains its stability, with the research of the population's density regulation. The conclusion can be a reference to the population's management and protection.
