A DIRECT METHOD FOR ASSESSMENT OF FREQUENCY STABILITY OF POWER SYSTEMS

A direct method for frequency stability assessment of power systems is proposed in this paper, which is based on the latest Jacobbi Matrix of the power flow calculation. The method can directly calculate the final system frequency after the last switching without step_by_step integra1, and the system frequency stability can be determined. The proposed method has been used in the simulations of a 68_bus power system to test its speed and accuracy, and the results are satisfactory.
