Shoot of Selection and Survival Analysis of Tomicus yunnanensis Kirkendall & Faccoli (Curculionidae, Scolytinae)

Fed the Yunnan shoot borer Tomicus yunnanensis Kirkendall Faccoli in laboratory and shoots selection study.The results showed that the borers had selection.It lived average11 days in entranced shoots.They lived average 3 days in the control.There were not significant differences between sand moisturizing vaccination shoots and entranced shoots,so sand may overcome the lack that overturned borers impact on experimental results.
