Rebuilding of Conventional Flue-Cure Barn by Installing Auto-Controlled Heater and Moisture Removal

In order to deal with the dilema to carry out the flue curing schedule,conventional flue-cure barn was rebuilt by installing auto-controlled heater and moisture removal.The test results showed that: the temperature and humidity could be totally auto-controlled for the rebuilt barn,the temperature rose quickly and stably and the temperature difference was smaller than the conventional flue-cure barn.Therefore,the curing schedule for high quality leaves can be carried out correctly and the quality of cured leaves is improved.The first class of leaves increased by 13.51%,average price by 1.51 yuan/kg and total sugar and reduce sugar decreased by 3.25 and 2.89% respectively,starch by 0.7 %.At the same time,the chemical compositions of tobacco were in balance,and also the cost decreased by 32.02%.
