The Supercritical CO_2 Fluid Extraction of Gardenia Yellow Pigment

Using supercritical flui d extraction method (SFE) to extract gardenia yellow pigment (GYP),and the influences of process conditions (extraction pressure,extraction time,extraction temperature and fluid flow rate,etc.) on extraction of gardenia yellow pigment were studied.The results indicated that the influence of fluid flow rate on the color value of gardenia yellow pigment was the largest.The extraction efficiency was better when the entrainer was the solution contained 60% ethanol,the extraction pressure was 25 MPa,the extraction temperature was 45℃,fluid flow rate was 8 L/h and the extraction time was 2 h,meanwhile the color value of gardenia yellow pigment reached 1.00.
