Distribution of Photosynthate in Late Stage of the First Season of Super Hybrid Ratoon Rice and Its Yield Formation

14C isotope tracer technique was applied to study the relationship between the distribution law of photosynthate in late stage and the yield formation of the first season of ratoon rice of four super hybrid rice combinations.The results showed that the residual quantity of photosynthate in rice stubble that 15 d after full heading stage of the first season of super hybrid rice showed a positive correlation with effective panicles of ratoon rice,total dry matter amount of ratoon rice,yield and grain number per spike;the residual quantity of photosynthate that 15 d after full heading stage of the first season of super hybrid rice will influence the dry matter amount in rice stubble of the first season rice,and further influence the dry matter accumulation and yield formation of ratoon rice;the residual photosynthate in rice stubble had a huge influence on the growth and development of ratoon;the more the quantity of photosynthate distributed to rice stubble,the number of emerging seedlings and the number of effective panicles were,the higher the yield will get.
