Effect of aggregate type and gradation on the performance of porous cement concrete

In order to study the effect of aggregate factors on the performance of porous cement concrete,three kinds of single diameter of basalt rock and pebbles,9.5~13.2 mm,13.2~19.0 mm,19.0~26.5 mm,as well as three kinds of particle size aggregate in different dosage conditions were studied.The CT scanning,simple water permeable instrument and other technical means were also used to obtain the porous pore size and pore distribution of porous concrete,and its permeability.The results show that under same conditions,the effective porosity of the gravel porous concrete is 3%~4% higher than that of the pebble porous concrete.With different particle size,the lowest compressive strength of gravel porous concrete is 7% higher than the pebble and the highest compressive strength of gravel porous concrete is 9% higher than that of the pebble.Compared with pebbles,gravel surface is rough,rich of micro-texture,and the capacity of bonding cement paste is stronger,so the gravel porous concrete compressive strength is higher.
